Geekling Creations took root in 2015 as a comiccon shop selling props and sculpts as a hobby. At the time I was experimenting with designing and making a set of elf ears for my LARP elf character. I finished my first pair and decided I could improve on them and maybe add them to my little shop.

I had recently graduated from college with a AS in Fine Arts and wasn’t sure what direction I would take. I knew it would involve sculpting and design since I was really drawn to both.

The trick in designing elf ears to fit the general public is balancing detail with a universal fit, so there was some trial and error until I refined the technique.

The elf ears began to sell, slowly at first but increasing each month. Over the course of the next couple of years I added several more styles. Business eventually increased enough to become a full time job

I recently moved back to Northern NY, place of my birth and with much help from family have been building a new dedicated earsmithing shop. The project is ongoing, but I am now able to use some of this big new space!
